Nature Is In Our Hands
On February 9th, the
Green Valley Project
and
Patagonia
partnered together to host a film event called, Nature Is In Our Hands. Nature Is In Our Hands is a short film that was created by Green Valley Project student interns about their field trips to various restoration projects within Ventura County. The goal of this project was to have the interns visit land restoration sites and interview the managers to understand the various methods and goals amongst the organizations. The Turtle Conservancy’s
East End Preserve
was included in their film and members of our volunteer and education teams were invited to host a booth at the event! This was a great opportunity for us to engage with the community and promote the wonder of turtles.
